today's bargain hunting turned out to be quite a success.
amy, michele and i, the chinatowntroppers (as coined by michele) spent a total of 6 hours in the same building and spent a lot of cash on frivolous trinkets:

(sorry for the really pathetic picture quality though, i can assure u they look much better!)
we each made 2 and spent close to $90+ in total!
elastic belt + buckle = $2.20
we emerged from the building, tired, sticky and feet-aching,
but thoroughly satisfied and contented with our buys.
even lunch, of fried guo tie (dumplings), was tummy-comforting:
from a stall run by three chinese nationals,
12 pieces for $5
sugar cane juice was just normal, but at least it was a bug cup for only a dollar.
our next target for Bargain Friday:
Salvation Army thrift store
